Marie Arrambide Gascue, June 6, 1907 to July 11, 1995

Marie Arrambide Gascue, 88 died July 11, 1995, at Hearthstone of Northern Nevada, Sparks.

A native of St. Etienne De Baigorry, France, she was born June 6, 1907, to Jean and Jeanne Marie Atchoarena, and had lived in Reno for the past 70 years, coming from France

Mrs, Gascue was a retired hotel operator and a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church

A son, James Etcheto and daughters, Marie Etcheto and June Etcheto Tanner, preceded her in death.

Surviving are son John Dominic Gascue of Sparks; stepsons, Raymond Etcheto of Fort Bidwell, Calif;, Peter Etcheto of Elko and John “Buzz” Etcheto of Reno; five grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one niece and nephew.

Visitation is scheduled from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at O’Brien-Rogers and Crosby Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery Chapel.

Burial will be at the cemetery.

A memorial is being established with Ronald McDonald House, 323 Maine St. Box 11871, Reno 89502.
